Petrolia entered their tilt with Muenster on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Muenster Hornets. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by exactly two runs.

Petrolia pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 4.75 runs across that stretch. As for Muenster, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petrolia will venture away from home to challenge Mineral Wells at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Muenster, they are taking a road trip to face off against Archer City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
