Soccer Preview: AuSable Valley vs. Northern Adirondack
AuSable Valley has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Northern Adirondack Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. AuSable Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Northern Adirondack will be coming in after a defeat.
On Wednesday, AuSable Valley needed a bit of extra time to put away Lake Placid. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bombers , sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
They hit Lake Placid with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Oliver Dorr,
Jordan Teller, and
Avante Yeates.
Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Northern Adirondack was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Saranac Lake by a score of 1-0.
AuSable Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Northern Adirondack, they now have a losing record at 3-4-1.
