There's no place like home for Mountain View Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Summit Tahoma Tigers on Tuesday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-21.

Sephora Camacho paced Mountain View Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Camacho got some help from Myka Chan and her 16 assists. Susen Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Summit Tahoma, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Mountain View Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit on the 24th. As for Summit Tahoma, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Stratford Prep on the 25th.
