Football Game Preview: Barbers Hill Eagles vs. Weiss Wolves + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Brady Barrier and Jaxon Schad are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Barbers Hill Eagles will face off against the Weiss Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Barbers Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Barbers Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-30 win over Anderson.

Barbers Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tripp Davis, who picked up 176 receiving yards and two scores. Davis' receiving production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 receiving yards. Kaegan Morton was another key pass catcher, picking up 84 receiving yards and one TD.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Barbers Hill's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Trae Clark with two.

Meanwhile, Weiss humbled Lufkin with a 52-14 victory. Considering the Wolves have won eight matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Weiss' win came from a few key players Barbers Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kendall Robertson, who rushed for 90 yards on only eight carries, and also caught one touchdown. Those 90 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another pass catcher making a difference was Tre Moore, who picked up 132 receiving yards and one score.

Weiss was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 152 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Barbers Hill's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Weiss, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
