Basketball Game Preview: Mohave Thunderbirds vs. Prescott Badgers

The Mohave Thunderbirds are taking a road trip to face off against the Prescott Badgers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mohave has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

Mohave lost 51-25 to Lee Williams on Thursday.

Mingus typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Prescott proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 53-47 W over the Marauders. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Prescott's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Mohave, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Mohave took a serious blow against Prescott when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-14. Can Mohave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
