The Orangewood Christian Rams will challenge the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orangewood Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Orangewood Christian turned things around against Father Lopez on Friday. They secured a 28-24 W over the Green Wave. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Rams were the better team in the second half.

Jack Benson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 94 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic lost to Canterbury on the road by a 29-14 margin on Friday. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Christopher Jacobs picked up 95 receiving yards and one touchdown. Jacobs was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 69 yards.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Orangewood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Orangewood Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 12-7 victory.
