Basketball Recap: Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Victorious

The Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles had just enough and edged out Coastal Brigade 38-36 on Tuesday.

Olivia Bazemore was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-16 en route to 25 points and three steals. The matchup was her ninth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Ball, who posted eight points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Coastal Brigade still got an impressive performance from Maelyn Bledsoe, who almost dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. Bledsoe is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Penelope Lefebvre was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Coastal Brigade, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-45 victory against Victory Christian on the 2nd.
