Volleyball Recap: Pieper Takes a Loss

Pieper lost against Liberty Hill back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Eva Planchet paced Pieper's offense, picking up ten kills. Planchet got some help from Amaris Williams and her 19 assists. Planchet was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Liberty Hill can attribute much of their success to Lauren Bedre, who had eight digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Bedre a new career-high.

Pieper's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Liberty Hill, their record now sits at 6-1.

Pieper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Concordia Lutheran on the 16th. As for Liberty Hill, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Weiss on the 16th.
