Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian lost against Archbishop Mitty last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monarchs.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Archbishop Mitty scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 21-25, 25-23.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Archbishop Mitty, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 33-2.

Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Mitty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellarmine College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
