Volleyball Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

Valencia lost against West Ranch on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Ranch found their leader in sophomore Stephen Choi, who had five digs and three aces.

Valencia's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for West Ranch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

Valencia will welcome Golden Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Ranch, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Palo Verde on the 19th.
