Charles Page is 9-1 against Bartlesville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Charles Page is taking a road trip to take on Bartlesville at 11:00 a.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Charles Page's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Ponca City. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Sandites as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bartlesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Northwest Classen 22-0 on Monday. The Bruins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kaden Romesburg was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bartlesville is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Romesburg was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Sam Marcella and Carl Silva did most of the damage at the plate: Marcella went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles, while Silva scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those five RBI gave Marcella a new career-high. Cooper Swaim also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Bartlesville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest Classen only posted an OBP of .077.

Bartlesville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. Charles Page's record is now 6-8.
