Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience hadn't done well against Bayless recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Owls came out on top against the Bronchos by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Owls, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 19-25, 25-7, 25-16.

Sophie Wallace paced Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's offense, picking up ten kills. Wallace got some help from Justine Thornton and her 20 assists. Thornton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's win bumped their record up to 26-3-1. As for Bayless, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience will square off against Valley Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bayless does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
