Soccer Game Preview: DeWitt vs. East Lansing

The DeWitt Panthers will face off against the East Lansing Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

DeWitt barely beat Okemos the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Wolves on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for DeWitt considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, East Lansing kept a clean sheet against Everett on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Vikings. The win continues a trend for East Lansing in their matchups with Everett: they've now won five in a row.

East Lansing's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for DeWitt, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season.
