Baseball Recap: Omaha North Comes Up Short

Omaha North might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was Lincoln Southeast who claimed the real prize. The Vikings lost 18-7 to the Knights. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Omaha North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Bolouvi, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Bolouvi is becoming a predictor of the Vikings' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't). Baker O'Neill was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Omaha North's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lincoln Southeast, their record is now 8-12.
