Basketball Recap: South Garland Takes a Loss

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lakeview Centennial Patriots and fell 57-9. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-9 back in December of 2024.

South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Lakeview Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

South Garland will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wylie East at 6:00 p.m. As for Lakeview Centennial, they will square off against Naaman Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview Centennial is facing Naaman Forest at the right time seeing as Naaman Forest is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
