Basketball Recap: Northville Takes a Loss

Northville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 66-49 bruising from the Dearborn Pioneers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-48 back in December of 2024.

Northville's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Dearborn, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northville and Dearborn will both be playing Tournament Opponent the next time they take the court. Dearborn will head out to face Tournament Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Northville will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
