Baseball Game Preview: International Jaguars vs. Drew Dragons

For the first time this season, International will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will welcome the Drew Dragons at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for International and five for Drew dating back to last season.

It was a proper cat-fight when International faced off against College Prep on Thursday. International came up short against College Prep, falling 15-7.

Meanwhile, Drew lost 11-1 to College Prep on Tuesday.

Drew saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonas Tobener, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Cole Gardener also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Drew's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for International, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

International beat Drew 11-7 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Does International have another victory up their sleeve, or will Drew turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
