South Park waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Steel Valley Ironmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 last Monday.

South Park's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Steel Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Park will face off against Burgettstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.3, the Blue Devils 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Steel Valley, they will head out to face off against Sewickley Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sewickley Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.44 runs per game on average), something Steel Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of.
