Baseball Recap: Southmoore Comes Up Short

Southmoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Moore Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Monday.

Southmoore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cannon Kannady, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Southmoore's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Moore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Southmoore will head out to square off against Marlow at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Moore, they will venture away from home to take on Norman North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
