Preview: Westmont vs. Warren
On Friday Westmont take on Warren at 7:00 PM. Westmont don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
You can't lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Westmont's strategy against Westville last Friday. Westmont blew past Westville 34-6. Westmont were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Warren, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-46 to Lena-Winslow.
Westmont's victory lifted them to 4-3 while Warren's loss dropped them down to 0-7. We'll find out if Westmont can add another positive mark to their record or if Warren can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Westmont's step.
