Meanwhile, West Linn waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lakers.

Avery Wolf made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Piper Ruthrauff, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. Kendall Atwood was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

West Linn's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Tigard, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
