Volleyball Recap: Corinth Holders Comes Up Short

Corinth Holders lost against Clayton last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Corinth Holders and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Clayton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Corinth Holders is taking a road trip to take on West Johnston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clayton, they will be playing at home against Fuquay - Varina at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
