Brooks came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Central Wildcats 66-45. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brooks has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.

Brooks and Hamilton will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Central Wildcats duke it out with the Deshler Tigers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
