Football Recap: Glacier Peak Comes Up Short

Glacier Peak lost against Lake Stevens back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies were outmatched by the Vikings and fell 49-14. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Lake Stevens was led to victory by Blake Moser and Jayvian Ferrell. Moser threw for 260 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes, while Ferrell rushed for 132 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 67 yards. Grayson Eggers was another key player, picking up 86 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glacier Peak fell to 4-1. As for Lake Stevens, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Glacier Peak didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 58-0 win against Cascade on the 10th. As for Lake Stevens, they have also already played their next matchup, a 42-0 victory against Jackson on the 10th.
