Basketball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton lost against Becker back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Princeton Tigers took a 66-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Becker Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Becker, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Princeton Tigers duke it out with the Providence Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Becker, they will challenge Cambridge-Isanti at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Becker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Cambridge-Isanti likes a good challenge.
