Recap: Bendle Tigers vs. International Academy Phoenix
The Bendle Tigers were the 48-29 winner over the International Academy Phoenix when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bendle took a hard 62-43 fall against International Academy on Monday. Bendle just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Despite the loss, Bendle still got an impressive performance from Emma Mose, who scored 24 points. That was a full 55.8% of Bendle's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Alyssah Belcher, who scored 12 points.
Bendle's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for International Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bendle won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Atherton at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th. Atherton is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. International Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Beecher at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th.
