Recap: Iberia Rangers vs. Richland Bears
The Iberia Rangers were the 68-58 winner over the Richland Bears when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Iberia fell 40-33 to Richland on Wednesday.
Iberia's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexa Rowden, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaye Humphrey, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Iberia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Richland, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iberia will challenge Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Richland will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laquey at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
