Baseball Game Preview: Inglewood Sentinels vs. Morningside Monarchs

For the second straight game, Inglewood will face off against Morningside. The Sentinels will challenge the Monarchs at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Inglewood will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Inglewood is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over Morningside on Tuesday. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Omar Robles was a standout: he got three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Wesley Jackson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Inglewood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .390. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
