While Chapin's victory against White Knoll wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Timberwolves 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Chapin got a great performance from Reese Jolly as he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave Jolly a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Chapin's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ty Harper, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave Harper a new career-high. Kaden Harris was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Chapin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.

Chapin's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for White Knoll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Chapin will have a chance to go back-to-back against White Knoll: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
