Orlando Science extends road losing streak to seven

The Orlando Science Orcas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 64-53 to Crooms Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Orlando Science of the 54-26 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Wednesday.
When it comes to explaining why Orlando Science lost, one person who can't be blamed is Glen Wickersham. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. That's the first time this season that Wickersham scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Reyes, who scored nine points along with 15 rebounds.
Orlando Science bumped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Crooms Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Orlando Science's road trip will continue as they head out to face Real Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Crooms Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Elite Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Hopefully Elite Prep Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Thursday.
