Volleyball Recap: Standing Bear Takes a Loss

Standing Bear's tournament run continued when they took on Lincoln North Star on Friday. The Grizzlies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Navigators. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Norah Ferguson paced Standing Bear's offense, picking up three kills. Ferguson got some help from Lindyn Stutzman and her four assists.

Standing Bear now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lincoln North Star, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Standing Bear and Lincoln North Star will both be playing Pius X the next time they take the court. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Thunderbolts at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Navigators will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
