Recap: Newton Rams vs. Putnam County War Eagles
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 12 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Newton Rams proved on Saturday. They strolled past Putnam County with points to spare, taking the game 59-40.
Newton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Perry, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
