Softball Game Preview: Locust Fork Hornets vs. Vinemont Eagles

The Locust Fork Hornets will head out to take on the Vinemont Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Locust Fork's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Vinemont's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Locust Fork beat Pennington 7-3.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Vinemont fell 10-7 to Cold Springs. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 22, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Vinemont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Locust Fork, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
