There's no place like home for Rochester, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Union Area Scotties on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

Justin Schurr looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Rochester got a massive performance out of Jett Williams, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Keegan Currie was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Rochester hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Union Area struck out eight times.

With the victory, Rochester broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Union Area, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Rochester wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-9 defeat against Winchester Thurston on the 14th. As for Union Area, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-7 loss against Western Beaver on the 16th.
