Utica extends road winning streak to three

Recap: Utica Chieftains vs. Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans

The Utica Chieftains had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against Sterling Heights Stevenson by a score of 62-50. That's another feather in the cap for Utica, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Utica was led to victory by Sebastian Soriano and Mason Brodi. Soriano scored 18 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, while Brodi scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. The contest was Brodi's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Hasan, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.

Utica pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
