Lincoln-Way West posted their closest win since September 20th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Sandburg Eagles 2-1. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lincoln-Way West got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-6.

Kaylea Armstrong paced Lincoln-Way West's offense, picking up ten kills. Armstrong got some help from Claire Murphy and her 25 assists. Sophia Rozga controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lincoln-Way West's win bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Sandburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-22.

Lincoln-Way West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandburg, they will welcome Oak Lawn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
