            The D.C. Everest Evergreens will take on the Brookfield East Spartans at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
D.C. Everest is headed into the  matchup after thoroughly thrashing Eau Claire Memorial: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Evergreens blew the Old Abes out of the water with  a  43-7 final score. The  contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Evergreens had established  a  29-point advantage.
D.C. Everest's win  on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Judiah McCrary, who rushed for 137 yards and one  touchdown on only 11 carries.  Ty Rohde was another key signal caller, throwing for 126 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: D.C. Everest was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 250  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to D.C. Everest's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Carson Kempf and  Logan Lessmiller, who racked up  five sacks between them.
 Meanwhile, Brookfield East entered their tilt with Menomonee Falls on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Phoenix get on the board and left with  a   42-0  victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Phoenix are ranked 92nd).
 D.C. Everest's record now sits at 6-3. As for Brookfield East, their record is now 7-2.
 D.C. Everest was taken down by Brookfield East 35-0 when the teams last played  back in November of 2020. Can the Evergreens avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
