Recap: Douglas County West Falcon vs. Louisville Lions
In what's become a running theme this season, the Douglas County West Falcon gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 60-24 win over Louisville. With Douglas County West ahead 39-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Grace Holm was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. Olivia Malousek was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Douglas County West and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Louisville, they bumped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Douglas County West will face off against Boys Town at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Louisville, they will head out on the road to challenge Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Arlington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Louisville in Nebraska (Arlington is ranked 42nd, while Louisville is ranked 233rd).
