First Coast is  a perfect 5-0 against Andrew Jackson since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Buccaneers will head out to  face off against the Tigers  at 6:00  p.m. First Coast will be strutting in after a  win while Andrew Jackson will be coming in after a  defeat.
First Coast took a 11-run  loss the last time they faced off against Episcopal School of Jacksonville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Buccaneers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past  3-2.
 Carmen Overstreet spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Makiyah Lester, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.
 Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson fell victim to Sandalwood and their airtight pitching crew  last Monday. They came up short against  the Saints, falling  12-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Andrew Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for First Coast, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
 First Coast took their  win against Andrew Jackson  in their previous meeting  back in February by a conclusive  14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
