Baseball Recap: Gabrielino Eagles vs. Mountain View Vikings

Gabrielino hadn't beaten Mountain View on the road since April 26, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Eagles walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Vikings back in March, they had to take a 7-3 defeat.

Ethan Tran made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Gabrielino's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is undefeated (and 3-10 when he doesn't).
