As for Woodhaven, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.

On Woodhaven's side, not much got past Kaden Newsted, who gave up just a hit to keep Trenton off the board.

On the hitting side, Cameron Thorning was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Spencer, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
