Broderick Taylor leads Miller to victory over Vela

The Miller Buccaneers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Vela 49-28. The victory was just business as usual for Miller, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for Broderick Taylor, who rushed for 274 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played. Miller also got help from Corey Holmes who showed off his sure hands for 159 receiving yards.
Miller pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Vela, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2.
Miller will take on Victoria West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Victoria West is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Vela does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
