Baseball Recap: Pine Bluff Takes a Loss

Pine Bluff fell victim to El Dorado and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-0 to the Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Zebras just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Pine Bluff saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Ento, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Pine Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for El Dorado, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Pine Bluff will welcome Dumas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for El Dorado, they will head out on the road to challenge Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
