Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Monte Vista Monarchs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Monte Vista, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-12.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monte Vista, they will square off against San Ysidro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
