Softball Recap: Lynn Classical Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Medford, Lynn Classical was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Chelsea Red Devils by a score of 21-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won nine in a row.

Olivia Rodriguez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Mia Duncan was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Brooke Braswell, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lynn Classical now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chelsea, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will welcome Everett at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Chelsea, they will face off against Northeast Metro RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
