Soccer Game Preview: George School vs. Friends' Central

The George School Cougars will head out to challenge Friends' Central at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. George School's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

George School fell victim to Shipley and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to Shipley. While losing is never fun, George School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Shipley are ranked 157th).

Meanwhile, Friends' Central can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They came out on top against George School by a score of 3-1.

George School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Friends' Central, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8-1.
