Softball Game Preview: Juarez Eagles vs. Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros

The Juarez Eagles will face off against the Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Juarez's favor as the squad sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Cristo Rey Jesuit has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Hancock hit Juarez with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Juarez lost 14-4 to Hancock.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey Jesuit had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Holy Trinity on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-6 victory. The Cristeros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Juarez, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.
