Baseball Recap: Blue Valley Find Success

The Blue Valley Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Life Prep Fire 4-2.

Blue Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Life Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Blue Valley will welcome Spring Hill on Friday. As for Life Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brush at 1:45 p.m. on May 10.
