Basketball Recap: Genesee Bulldogs vs. Prairie Pirates
The Genesee Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-37 loss at the hands of Prairie. Genesee lost against the Pirates in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 51-50 score last time.
Despite the loss, Genesee still got an impressive performance from Teak Wareham, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Genesee dropped their record down to 1-18 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Prairie, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Genesee will take on the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearwater Valley and the Bulldogs are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Prairie, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
