Basketball Game Preview: Chiloquin Panthers/Queens vs. Dufur Rangers

The Chiloquin Panthers/Queens will venture away from home to face off against the Dufur Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chiloquin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Prospect 67-37. While the Panthers/Queens didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Dufur came tearing into last Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the Cougars.

Dufur's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for Chiloquin, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
